Monday, November 17, 2014 at 9:57 amHeidi’s post was so accurate and so necessary, and so perfect for anyone who’s facing yet another blank computer screen, or a mess of ingredients without inspiration or drive. To keep the fires burning takes so much effort and time and energy and the willingness to keep moving when all you want to do is sink to the ground and close your eyes. The bottom line is always to just be you. Far too many bloggers attempt to emulate their heroes, the favorites that everyone loves. I never understood that. Those blogs that I still am drawn to, time and again, are the voices that are indisputably their own, with stories woven in recipes and life splashed out here and there. That’s all anyone needs to do.

Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 4:03 amWonderful photos. The lady reminds me of myself about 6 months ago, while I am holding my baby girl in my arms right how and my older kid is jumping around me….such joyful and blessed, yet also sometimes exhausting times.
