It’s a favorite combination, and the perfect way to celebrate any holiday, but especially in a heart shape (I just used a heart shaped pan! I’ll link it in my stories) for Valentine’s Day. 💕 The layers are comprised of My Favorite Brownie recipe as the base, a creamy peanut butter filling with cacoa nibs for crunch, and a smooth, glossy chocolate ganache. The cacao nibs add both a bitter note that offsets the sweetness and richness of the chocolate and peanut butter, and a much-needed crunch. Merry merry! I just assembled my cookie tray for C Merry merry! I just assembled my cookie tray for Christmas Eve. My husband had to have surgery this past Wednesday (he is doing okay!) so this year I had to plan ahead and make cookie dough and bars that I knew would freeze well. We have: Double Ginger, Oatmeal Raisin, Toasted Sesame, Chocolate Chip, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Shortbread with sprinkles, Coffee Blondies, Seven Layer Bars, Peppermint Bark, and Rolo Turtles. (I know Chocolate Chip is a controversial holiday cookie but everyone requested them, so.) Raising a glass (or cookie) to all of you, and wishing peace and joy to you and yours. Much love. ❤️

Rich with so much chocolate flavor, have slightly crisp edges the day of baking, and a tender center that lasts for days (which makes them perfect for cookie boxes). I’ve found the inclusion of ground espresso and a dash of coffee-flavored liqueur adds really nice flavor, and compliments the chocolate perfectly. Fraser the Forest Ranger by @matthewschufman (who is also in @graveyardclub and their music is awesome) 7. My lovely friend @heartbeetkitchen teaches sourdough classes online and in person! I learned so much taking it. Highly recommend. 8. After taking your sourdough class, you can bake bread in the @lecreuset bread oven! It’s beautiful. 9. My very favorite coffee mug from Creative Coop. Purchased at @doorcountycreamery but also spotted on @amazonhome 10. My nieces just because they are adorable and made piles of Christmas cookies with me. ❤️
