I’m still in shock, after seeing this write up in the New York Times about my chocolate chip cookies. I’ve had a lot of questions for the recipe and about the recipe, so I’m popping in to say that I am working on a post or two that will answer questions and help troubleshoot any issues. I’m hoping there will also be a video involved, as I’ve also had lot of curiosity about the correct way to ‘pan-bang’. In the meantime, if you are here looking for the recipe, you can find it here! I do have several other chocolate chip recipes on my site, but those are not the cookies you are looking for. Thank you again for all the cookie love on Instagram! I do have a giveaway going on over there for a copy of my book – you can find that here.

Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:01 pmLOVED reading this in the NYT and the comments were so hilarious … the description of what makes the cookie so greatly crave able was spot-on – the crisp/chew/rippling of dough … gah. I’ve been wanting to make them again ever since reading the NYT article … I have definitely made them smaller and while they have less ripples, they are still delicious of course! Congrats on this cookie-filled success!! PAN BANG! xo

Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:45 amI saw the recipe and decided to make the cookies. Even better, I showed the recipe my 10 year old daughter, who loves to bake, and she made them last night. Not only were they a huge hit, but my daughter was explaining what a great recipe it was to follow. She learned a great deal from you. Thank you and congrats!

Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2:30 pmThis was so exciting!!!! I really need to make those cookies again. I originally made them one day when I had a snow day from work. I was home alone that week since my husband was gone. I gave a couple to my parents (who loved them), and I put most of them in the freezer. Well …. they didn’t last the week. I just keep pulling them out of the freezer and eating them. But I can definitely vouch for the fact that they freeze well! I think I just popped them in the microwave for a little to bring them back to room temperature, or just let it sit out in a container to thaw if I knew I was going to indulge later. These are definitely NYT-worthy! Congrats!!
